Looking Up Costs of LIFO and FIFO Items

Use the I/C LIFO/FIFO screen to look up the costs of received, shipped and available items that use LIFO or FIFO costing by item and by location.

To look up the costs of LIFO and FIFO items on particular transactions:

1. Open Inventory Control > I/C Statistics and Inquiries > LIFO/FIFO Inquiry.
2. Select the account set or sets (LIFO or FIFO) for which you want to view information.
3. Specify an item number or range of item numbers.
4. Select a location or locations.
5. Click Refresh to view items that match the criteria you specified.

6. To see more information about an item, select a row in the table, and then click the Details button.

   The I/C LIFO/FIFO Inquiry Details screen displays the following information for the item:

   • Document number
   • Date
   • Quantity received and cost
   • Quantity shipped and cost
   • Quantity available and cost

   Below the table, additional information is displayed about items that have not yet been processed by Day End Processing.

7. To return to the LIFO/FIFO Inquiry screen, close the I/C LIFO/FIFO Inquiry Details screen.
