Overview
Use the I/C Item Labels screen to print labels, such as price tags or bar codes, that you can attach to items when you receive them from suppliers, and to items already in your inventory.
You can print labels for items at any time, for example, to replace damaged labels or to update item descriptions and pricing information.
Note: To print labels for the bins or shelves where you store items at your inventory locations, use the I/C Bin/Shelf Labels screen instead.
When to Print
Print item labels when you receive new items into stock and want to attach price tags or other labels to the items. You specify the number of labels to print for each item when you post the receipts.
At any time, you can print labels for items already in your inventory, such as to replace damaged labels or to update item descriptions and pricing information.
Information Printed on the Labels
The ICITLB01.RPT label format includes the following information on the item labels:
- Item number and item description.
- Bin/shelf number.
- Price and pricing unit of measure.
