Inventory Control Reports

Overview

The I/C Inventory Movement report shows the quantities and extended costs of inventory items that were received into stock and shipped out of stock during the specified period, as well as the opening and ending balance.

The report shows each stock activity transaction. You can group items in all locations together or display items in each location separately.

Note: The cost of the items received in the inventory is the actual cost of the item. The calculation of the cost of the items shipped from inventory depends on the costing methods used.

Information Printed on This Report

The report only includes transactions for the specified period of time (using transaction dates or fiscal periods).

For each transaction, the report includes the date, document number, inventory location, source ledger (such as Order Entry, Purchase Orders, or Project and Job Costing), unit of measure, inventory-in or inventory-out quantity and cost, and running balances.

For each item included in the report, the item opening and closing balances are also shown.

If you selected a sort order, the report includes subtotals by the sort order field (category, item segment, or an optional field).

If you selected Separate Locations, the report prints each location on a new page.
