You can associate additional item numbers with the items in your inventory by using the I/C Manufacturers' Items screen.
Manufacturers' items let you associate bar codes with your inventory items.
Manufacturers' item numbers are automatically translated to your inventory item numbers when you enter them in item number fields in Inventory Control, Order Entry, or Purchase Orders.
Note: Each manufacturer's item number is associated with a unit of measure, so you can assign a different manufacturer's number for single items, a box, and a pallet.
