Account Group
Specify or define the account group code. To define a code, you can enter up to 12 alphanumeric characters.
Account Group Description
Enter a description for the account group of up to 60 characters.
Group Category
Select the category to use to classify this group of accounts.
Sort Code
The program automatically replicates the account group code in this field. To change sort codes, click the Change Sort Codes button.
Overview
Sage 300 uses account groups to classify account balances. Use this screen to set up account groups and assign them to group categories.
