If you no longer need to remit taxes to a specific tax authority, you can delete the record for that tax authority.
Before you start
Before deleting a tax authority, make sure you no longer need its tax rates and classes. You cannot delete a tax authority if it is currently assigned to a tax group.
To delete a tax authority:
- More > Tax Services > Tax Authorities.
- In the Tax Authority field, specify the code to delete.
- Click Delete.
The tax authority is deleted, along with all tax rates and classes for that tax authority code.
