Create and Set Up a Microsoft SQL Server Database

You must create system and company databases using Microsoft SQL Server before you can set up the databases for use with Sage 300.

Refer to the documentation that came with your SQL Server software for information about creating databases using that program.

Once you have created the databases, you can use the Sage 300 Database Setup utility to:

• Set up the system database for Sage 300
• Set up the company database for Sage 300
• Configure the portal database for Sage 300
