Performing a Calculation

To open the calculator while in a field that accepts numeric values, press the plus key (+) on the numeric keypad.

To perform a simple calculation:

1. Enter the first number.
   • To enter a number, click buttons for the digits 0 to 9 and the decimal point (.), or type the numbers and a period using the numeric keypad or keyboard.
   • To erase the last digit, click the Back button or press the B key or Backspace.
2. To clear the displayed number, click the CE button or press the E key. Choose an operator.
   • To choose an operator, click the button or press the key to add (+), subtract (-), multiply (*), divide (÷ or /), or find the percentage (%).
   • To change the sign of the displayed number, click the ± button or press the N key.
3. Enter the remaining numbers and operators.
4. Calculate the result.
   • To calculate the result, click the equal sign (=) button or press the = key.
   • To insert the result in the current field, click the Paste button or press the P key.
   • To erase the current calculation, click the CA button or press the C key.
