Quantity Available (Qty Avail)
- The program displays open sales orders and purchase orders only (orders with a non-zero quantity on order).
- On hold and non-active orders are shown on the Sales Orders/Purchase Orders tabs.
This tab shows the Date, PO Number or OE Number, Vendor or Customer Number, Total Quantity, Total Available, and the Quantity on SO or PO and Quantity Available for each location. Negative stock positions appear in red.
If this tab is displayed when you leave the program, it will be the default display for drill downs.
The information displayed on this tab depends on the programs that are installed and activated for your company. The information also depends on which tabs you display. To see all available information, make sure that all the tabs are displayed for all installed and activated programs.
The Quantity Available tab may appear slowly, because the program must read all open orders and perform a number of calculations before displaying the data.
If you have a large number of open SOs or POs, you may want to use the Location tab if you are only interested in the total on hand and available quantities for this item.
- If SO or PO or MISys MO or MISys PO tabs are turned off, the SO or PO or MISys MO or MISys PO data will not be displayed.
- If One Location is selected for display, only quantities for the specified location will appear.
