Inventory Control > Printing Inventory Control Reports > Printing Price/Sales Analysis Reports > Markup Analysis
The I/C Markup Analysis report includes items whose base price varies from a desired selling price by more than the percentage you specify.
Before you start
Run Day End Processing to include the latest costing information in the report.
To print the I/C Markup Analysis report:

Inventory Control > I/C Price/Sales Analysis Reports > Markup Analysis.
- In the I/C Markup Analysis Report screen:
- If you want to limit the report to a range of price lists, enter the range for From Price List and To Price List.
- If you want to sort the report by item number, category, item segment, or an optional field value, select the sort order for Sort By. If you also want to limit the report to a range of values for the sort field, enter the range for From and To.
- If you want to limit the report to a range of inventory locations, enter the range for From Location and To Location.
- For Calculate Markup Based on, select the costing method to use to calculate the selling price and variance from the base price.
- For Print Items with Absolute Variance over (Percent), enter the percentage to use as the cut-off point for the analysis. The report only includes items whose base and desired selling prices vary by the specified percentage or more.
- Click Print.
The report appears in a new window. You can print the report or export it to a file.
